Panels, Candidate Forum Highlight TMA Conference
- WHAT: Top state and national physician and health care leaders, elected officials, and candidates for statewide office will gather in one place this weekend —Texas Medical Association’s (TMA’s) 2014 Winter Conference. State, physician, and business leaders will discuss their vision and strategies for health care delivery.TMA’s action-packed conference schedule boasts a candidate forum featuring the four Republican candidates for Texas comptroller, a Congressional update from Texas’ senior senator, a national health care update from the American Medical Association (AMA), and a panel discussion on the transformation of health care with experts from the State of Texas and the health care industry.
